Tesseract Web Design: Elements and Development

This website is brought to you by Maya Web Services. To the right you will see links to various designs Maya Web Services has done over the years. Below you will see information about web design and the various elements involved in the development of a website.

What is Web Design?

Literally, it is the graphic side of a website including pictures, art, organization, and the overall "look and feel" of a website. Web design can either entice a customer to look around and possibly do business or repluse them to the point that they wouldn't even consider coming back.

Why do I need a Website?

Websites are useful to communicate with your clients. They provide information about your business to your current clients and potential clients. They can make a potential client a real client.

I still don't think I need a Website.

Well, let's put it this way: your business will simply be left behind. A business needs to adapt with the times if it wants to survive. Will you?

A professional website is too expensive

How much money did you spend on that yellow pages ad? And how many people does it reach? Does it reach that county right next to you? No, it probably stops there. Then you have to pay for a listing in that county. The web reaches just about everybody!

Want to hear about something silly? We've talked to people who will spend $2000 a month on a billboard for six months or a year, and not get the response they wanted, but they won't spend a dime on a website. Even a rather grand website shouldn't cost you more than $4000 - $6000. You could use the rest of that money to promote your website, and wouldn't even need to spend that much. And you will* get results. Which means you have more profit not just from the money you didn't spend on an ad campaign that didn't work, but from all of those new customers you gain through your website.
